Mums & Bubs Yoga

Mum and Bub Yoga classes are designed for mums and their new babies to be gently guided to take time out to reconnect with their body after childbirth. Yoga will help to balance post pregnancy hormones and enhance the healing process. The classes also help to increase your energy levels , improve postural imbalance from carrying your baby and breastfeeding, in a warm supportive environment.

A series of poses focusing on strengthening the pelvic floor, the abdominals, the legs and the back while easing tension from the neck and shoulders.

There is no expectation for your baby to "behave" in a certain way and if you need to feed or change your baby during class that's fine too!

Important: As a general rule postnatal yoga can be started 6-8 weeks after a natural birth and 10-12 weeks after a caesarean with consent from your GP and as long as you feel up to it.
