Maryane discovered yoga 14 years ago and hasn’t looked back – it was love at first asana. After 10 years of regular practice, Maryane decided it was time to ease her way out of the corporate world and into the world of yoga. In 2008 she obtained her Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching followed by her Masters of Yoga Teaching in 2009, both at the Australian Yoga Academy. During this time Maryane came across the style of yoga known as Power Flow, and in 2010 completed her Level 1 Teacher Training course with world renowned teacher Baron Baptiste, creator the Power Flow program. “The best way I can describe what yoga has done for me is the feeling I have in Savasana at the end of my practice, when my body has opened up and all the physical and mental resistance has fallen away.” This is what Maryane loves about yoga and this is why she teaches yoga – to help others experience these feelings of pure love and joy that come from within themselves.

Margaux is an inspired yoga practitioner, yoga teacher / lecturer and occupational therapist. She has been working in areas of health for more than eight years.
Margaux’s yoga journey started in London, when she started to find the fast paced city life too hectic. At that time she decided to try yoga in an attempt to balance the stress in her life. Initially, Margaux observed her body’s positive reaction to yoga, as chronic ailments started to improve. Inspired by this, she studied a traditional Sivananda teaching and completed courses in asana, meditation and yogic psychology.
After detouring to India to immerse herself in traditional yogic teachings, Margaux returned to Australia to complete the advanced diploma of yoga at the Australian Yoga Academy in 2009.
Margaux teaches a balanced, flowing vinyasa, from traditional ashtanga and hatha asana sequences. She also focuses on the importance of pranayama, meditation and savasana. Due to Margaux’s experience working in occupational health, she also tailors classes to suit common lifestyle injuries and medical conditions. Margaux believes that everyone should have access to the wisdom, knowledge and inner peace that is yoga.
Margaux teaches from a western anatomical and physiological perspective with a weave of eastern esoteric philosophy.
